I started pole dancing 8 years ago. I learned thru YouTube and a home pole. After being diagnosed with HIV, I stopped for a while to get my mental health and life in check.

Time ended up flying by as I started a family, and my own Online Business. My pole collected dust in those couple of years. I always remained active but knew I was missing something. It was my pole. So I slowly started again. I realized I had many bad habits from self teaching and found The Pole in the Wall and started taking Online Classes.

I fell in love with the classes and the pole community. They have inspired me to compete and truly have a life doing what I love and being me. I always wanted to teach but never knew where to start. Pole in the wall helped point me in the right direction and continues to help me improve on my craft.

I figured if I could get my Yoga teacher Certification and a Personal Training Certificate I could go for a Pole Teaching Certification. I signed up for Xpert Online Level 1 and 2 Pole certification. I became so excited I purchased the Level 3-4 class just to keep it and start when I’m ready, rather then spending that money lol.

I am so excited for this journey to finally start again, it has been a long time coming. After the last year of 2020, it’s time to spend the rest of my life doing what I love rather then wasting time doing something I hate, it’s time to help make the world a better place, and it’s time to help others dance the stress away and feel free and sexy expressing themselves.

Kam began her pole journey in late 2019 at a small studio in Superior, Wisconsin, seeking to stay active after retiring from a lifelong career as a competitive ice dancer. Captivated by pole dancing’s blend of acrobatic power and fluid artistry, it soon became an indispensable outlet for her creativity and athleticism.

As she traveled around the country in pursuit of higher education, Kam trained with aerial artists from Los Angeles to Boston, honing her technique and fully embracing the challenges, rewards, and personal growth that came with integrating self-expression and sustainable practices into her movement.

Her pole dance and mentorship styles reflect this, emphasizing self-exploration, grace through strength, and empowerment of each individual to tap into their unique abilities.

Kass—also known as Kelvin—first stepped into a pole studio in mid-2021. After one class, he was ready to walk away, convinced it wasn’t for him. But with a little encouragement to give it another shot, everything changed. He’s been hooked ever since.

Pole has unlocked a new world of strength, creativity, and confidence Kass never knew he had. What began as hesitation has grown into a full-fledged passion—so much so that he now shares his knowledge and tips with fellow students, helping them master their own goal moves.

Molly started her pole dance journey in 2013 in Fort Collins, Colorado. She quickly fell in love with the combination of strength and grace that pole offered. She has huge thanks to give to her OG home studio Vertical Fusion for shaping her as a student, performer, and instructor.

Molly is also known as Ladybird Vixen when she takes the stage as a Burlesque performer/emcee/producer. Her show “Pints and Pasties” occurs throughout the year across Connecticut, with multiple shows at New England Cider Company in Wallingford, Connecticut. You can find her at her happiest when she is preparing a new routine (for herself or assisting a student) and getting to unleash her creativity.

One of the many reasons she loves Pole in the Wall so much is because of the variety of classes offered here and she encourages students to give all of the things a try whenever possible!
