• Strategic Phasing: Break your choreography into manageable weekly segments to avoid burnout.
Performance Tips:
• Filming for Feedback: Record yourself weekly to spot areas for cleaner lines.
• Layering: Master the movement first, then add the "flair" and emotion in the final weeks.
• The "Rest & Retain" Method: Schedule dedicated non-pole days to let your brain and body fully absorb the sequence.
What to wear:
Comfortable movement clothes that allow you to see your lines clearly. Bring your go-to pole gear, a notebook for mapping out your structure, and your standard practice attire (don't forget knee pads if your choreo includes floorwork).
