Pole Lab: Liquid Pole
Level 1+

Liquid Pole is a sensual, fluid fusion of Liquid Motion principles brought to the pole. Level up your technique and understanding of how to move on and around the pole. 

Learn about rotation and how to manipulate your pivot points. Explore liquid transitions on and off the pole, static rotations, low-flow combos, inverts, floorwork sequences, and smooth climbs or spins. Discover what opens up when you allow your movement to travel through multiple levels and pathways. 

What to Expect? 
  • A fun and challenging warm-up that awakens your body and senses 
  • Signature Liquid Motion methodologies translated onto and around the pole 
  • Beginner-to-intermediate pole elements wrapped in Liquid Motion styling 
  • Floor-to-pole and pole-to-floor flow sequences that build confidence and strength 
  • Liquid Motion floorwork phrases that make you feel deliciously liquid 
  • Plenty of space to move at your own pace and express your unique sensuality

What to Wear?
• Knee pads, layers and socks are recommended.

Bring Your Heels! We do suggest to always try new tricks without heels first to be safe, but the only way to get better at dancing in heels is to practice wearing them. NO pressure to those who don't want to dance in heels.

This session is limited to 7 students through the 90min period. 
There may be up to 8 students joining online.

You Are Always in Charge of Your Body & Your Workout
For safety and learning, your instructor may offer students hands-on spotting during the class portion of this Pole Lab. Instructors will always clearly explain how hands-on assistance will be given for each trick, and each student's consent is always requested and respected when offered a spot. Spotting is not offered during Open Practice time and students are not encouraged to spot others for safety reasons.

Remember to cool yourself down before you leave class — ask your instructor for tips!

Please let us know if you have special requirements for your session so we can prepare them before you arrive.

Our studio is also equipped with safety mats, yoga mats, blocks, straps, stretch bands, yoga balls, and weights. You will have share control of the lights and music at a reasonable volume during your practice with others also using the space. An instructor will always be available for safety, but studio rental sessions are considered unguided practice, and rental students should safely practice only what they have already learned.

90min Pole Labs will never be canceled due to low enrollment. 90min Pole Labs with just one person registered will run as an unguided 60min Open Practice instead of the 90min session. The student enrolled in the 90min Pole Lab will be alerted via email at least 4 hours prior to session start time of the change.

If you need to cancel your reservation, you must do so at least 4 hours prior to session start time, but bookings will stay open for dancers to register until this session begins! 

Arrive early (especially for our night classes) — here are directions to help! We lock the doors for safety after warmup.
